I began working with the cruise industry in 1990 as driver/guide for cruisetours in Alaska and the Yukon Territory. In 2005 I received an offer to go aboard the Radiance of the Seas as Destination Speaker on one of her Alaska cruises, and my love affair with cruising began. The following year my wife Cathy and I were on the Costa Mediterranea in the eastern Caribbean to promote Alaska cruises for a company new to the market, and the passion for seeing the world on cruise vacations grew.
